Free travel by bus and train for hiking, wellness holidays, discovery tours, or shopping: this is what your
unique KONUS guest card stands for, which you receive on arrival as part of the tourist tax for the town of Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest. It is a free ticket for bus and train travel in the Black Forest holiday region, from Pforzheim to Basel,
Karlsruhe to Waldshut, criss-crossing nine transport associations – as often as you like. The KONUS guest card is valid from your first day of stay, but only after arrival (check-in) until your day of departure. KONUS can be used for departure, but not for arrival.
The KONUS guest card is valid for the period of your stay as a 2nd class ticket on all buses and trains of the participating transport associations as well as on the trams and buses of the cities of Freiburg and Karlsruhe. ICE, IC, EC, and ECE connections as well as our Sommerbergbahn are excluded.

Tourist tax of the town of Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest
A tourist tax is charged in Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest and its districts. During your wellness holiday you will receive the so-called guest card, which gives you numerous attractive discounts in various tourist areas.
Tourist tax prices: (as of 2023)
- Bad Wildbad: €3.30 (business travellers: €1.50) per person per night
- Business travellers with an “operational area” in Bad Wildbad and/or its districts are exempt from the tourist tax.
