Hofgut Buckenberg is located within the city of Pforzheim on the edge of the Northern Black Forest – between Stuttgart and Karlsruhe.

The agricultural land surrounding the listed Hofgut Buckenberg estate, dating from 1749, is farmed biodynamically and is Demeter-certified.
The hay for the alpacas also comes from this land. Among other places, the animals graze on the meadow orchards typical of the neighbouring Heckengäu region and on the slopes towards the Enz Valley.
From the farm, the view stretches across Pforzheim towards the Black Forest. Old Roman routes around the grounds also invite visitors to explore the area on foot.
